		<description>If you&#039;re reading &quot;founding fathers&quot; bios, I would highly recommend &quot;John Marshall: Definer of a Nation&quot;, ahead of McCullough&#039;s John Adams biography.  And if you can slog through them (not because it&#039;s hard work, but because it&#039;s so long), the 6-volume Dumas biography of Jefferson is possibly one of the best and most detailed historical biographies ever written.  For a book on the revolutionary war and circumstances surrounding it, &quot;Angel In the Whirlwind&quot; by Bobrick is excellent.</description>
