Hello Ryan, we haven’t met b4 but I hope that we do in the future. My name is Vivek Goel, I’m a Microsoft 3rd party who works for Future Technologies. This company is a defense contractor.
I know that the most important thing for Google is the continued acceptance of reasonable security standards that don’t infringe on folks’ privacy. I read an article about Excite many years ago called “The Millionaires next door”. I guess you should have called it “The Millionaires Next Doerr”.

Congrats Ryan! I recently came across your blog and subscribed – thanks for sharing the insight here and the details of the story.
I agree with you on the IBM\Zimbra call too – its really the only way to “catch up” to what is out there. Re-doing all the work would not be beneficial at this point as Zimbra already has their version deployed and being used by so many people.
