Regarding music stopping when you link zones. The paradigm is that you select the zone that's playing the music, hit "Link Zone" and then select the zone you want to join the playing zone. Regarding music stopping when you link zones.

If you follow these steps then the music will not stop – but continue playing in both zones – and the queue will be preserved.
